Special thanks once again to my generous friend, H. A., for the splendid treats all the way from Japan. For this blog, I decided to sample the crackers that were included in the package; there were three kinds and you can see them in the picture above. As expected, all were tasty and worth trying. Let me start with the most common cracker in Japan - Senbei. Senbei is actually rice crackers - I like its crunchy texture and salty flavor. Moreover, it's really light and so I think this is an ideal snack for those who are on a diet.
The next cracker is made by the company, Kaldi. As what can be read on the package, it is soymilk cream sandwich biscuit. This can easily be popular to most people because of its creamy milky filling. The filling is not overly sweet and the smooth texture of the biscuit is nice; both really complement well.
The last would be my favorite of the bunch because I really love cheese. The name is Cheeza made by Glico. It really has the distinct taste of cheese. You can even smell the strong cheesy scent in every piece of cracker. The cheesy flavor lingers through your mouth in each bite. This is such an exceptional product; but I think this might be a bit expensive considering its really great quality.
All were good products esp. because they're all new to my palette. But, If I were to rank these crackers based on my preference it would be: 1. Cheeza 2. Soymilk Cream Sandwich Biscuit 3. Senbei When it comes to food, taste is very subjective; it can change depending on how the senses perceive. This being said, I just hope you get to try these items for yourselves and see if we have the same choices. Shout out to H. A. for these wonderful stuff. More posts on Japanese products - see you in the next blog.
