If you know me personally, I'm addicted to noodles... but I've been delaying my cravings for instant ramen to lead a healthy lifestyle. It's actually almost a year since I bought this ramen but I knew I had to consume it because it expires today. So I'm considering this day as my cheat day. šĀ

Recently, Samyang has been very aggressive in introducing uncommon flavors in their line of products. Samyang Sriracha Ramen is one of them. I think this is their way of entering the hype being generated by the Sriracha sauce especially in the US. I love Sriracha Sauce myself particularly the one made by Huy Fong Foods. And so I have high expectations for this.Ā

The package includes a brick of noodles, a sachet of dehydrated veggies, and the sauce. It's basically prepared the same way as any stir-fried noodles. Unfortunately, I wadn't able to get a photo of the cooked noodles since the image I took got corrupted. Anyway, here's my take on the ramen:
As always, the noodles are chewy and has good texture typical of any good quality instant noodles. The sauce indeed has the distinct sriracha taste although the sourness was a bit overpowering. The spice level was just the right amount for me. It's good... but I don't think there would be a second purchase on my end. Just happy to try it and I'll leave it as it is. š„š
