Last April 21-22, my buddy and I went on a road trip to Bacolod. We arrived at around 9:30 am and went straight to the Cathedral to attend Mass. And after Mass we headed to SM Bacolod for lunch. I convinced my friend that we try Byron's since a line was starting to build up - perhaps their food probably is good.
I ordered their Backribs Jr. (125php) and an egg (15php). And it was surprisingly good. The meat was very tender and the sauce was tangy and flavorful. Plus, the egg gave it and added burst of texture and flavor.
My buddy couldn't help but compare it to Casa Verde (Cebu's favorite Baby Backribs resto). He's right I must say; I would prefer Casa Verde if it were available. But if budget is a thing and you're craving for backribs, Byron's delivers. It's really a good bang for the buck. 🍖🍳
