Qing Hua Town Cuisine (Dumaguete)

It may be noticeable that most of my food posts recently are related to noodles. Sorry if my content has become too usual - I just couldn't resist my addiction. ✌

Anyway, (thanks to Facebook) I've found another gem of noodle heaven in Dumaguete. It's name Qing Hua Town Cuisine. I was so lucky that I was the only customer - I'm a shy guy and it makes taking photos difficult for me when there are a lot of people. Moving on, I happily took my seat and a staff came to me and took my order.

I was genuinely surprised when the staff handed me a tablet to take my order. Ordering in such a way was too modern for a country boy like me. Hehehe! As always, I tried to order healthy and cheap so I got the Eggplant Noodles (150php). I asked if it was spicy and the staff told me it wasn't but they could make it spicy - and I was simply impressed by the good customer service. Rarely will you find a place that goes beyond what they offer. While waiting for me order, they gave me a free cup of tea, some peanuts, and cucumber salad - nice!

The exterior was simple and at least they have airconditioning - a very important factor during these extremely warm days. I even asked if they sold beer but unfortunately they didn't since the owners were conservative about their religious beliefs.

When my order came, I knew I would be contented since the serving size was good. Most of the veggies were under the noodles and it was a good amount. It was obviously made spicy with the presence of a lot of chilis. And it had meat too! The noodles were chewy and thick - love it! I really enjoyed my meal and was even sweating despite the airconditioning due to the heat of the chilis.

Well, I'll surely come back to try their other noodle dishes. I really had a pleasant time. 😊
