I'm a coffee guy. But recently, milk tea shops have really been sprouting everywhere. Even my close buddies are up-to-date which ones are worth trying. And since milk tea mania is at hand, I decided to try it myself.

I'm an advocate of local businesses, and so I knew I had to try them before I go for the more established shops. I've tried Chanoom but wasn't really happy about the experience - the milk tea was pre-mixed so there was no chance of controlling the sugar content. Next was Gravitea - and this one got my attention.

They first started at Dad's Gastro Park but really didn't get the chance to try them there. But since they decided to open up another shop which was more accessible, I decided to pay them a visit. The place is small but it's cozy and chic. It could easily be a hangout spot esp. for yuppies and students.

I ordered the Matcha Milk Tea (95 php). Here are some of the good things I like about Gravitea:
Place - I like the relaxing ambiance
Staff - Courteous and Prompt
Price - Reasonable
Options - You can choose your sugar level and you can opt for Nata de Coco (I'm not a fan of Pearls)
Containers - They're eco-friendly since they use metal straws and bulb-like glasses; this is really commendable

With these points, it's obvious that I'd be back to try their other beverages - I'm pretty sure I'll try their Yakult Mix and of course their Cafe Americano. 😎 FB Page: https://www.facebook.com/GraviTeaDumaguete/
