Cafe Saira Pizzeria (Guihulngan)

I had the chance to visit a friend from Guihulngan yesterday. I was really looking forward to where she would take me for lunch since I'd like to know if there is a commendable place given that it's situated in the countryside.

And indeed there is! It is a nice and homey place with a rustic vibe to it. I was told that it was a former pharmacy converted into a restaurant when the owner decided to venture into the food business.

I was quite happy about the prices of the food. For me, they were very reasonable.

I ordered Sizzling Chicken Steak (95php) and Lumpia Shanghai (30php).

The Lumpia first arrived and so I enjoyed munching on it while waiting for my other order. It was good! And for its price, it was exceptional. It was flavorful and crunchy! And 6 pcs. for 30php? Great value for money.

And then the Sizzling Chicken Steak arrived. It was piping hot and boy did it taste great as well! I like the gravy that came with it because it had a very rich buttery taste. Although I would've preferred the serving to be a bit heftier. Nevertheless, it was delicious.

And I wouldn't let this entry pass without commending it's homemade hot sauce! I love it! And I made sure to pour a lot of it in my chicken and even on my rice. Truly memorable! I hope the restaurant would sell this - this would make a good 'pasalubong' item esp. for people who like spicy stuff.

For the total price of 125php, I really enjoyed the food. And the ambiance of the place is nice. I hope Cafe Saira stays in business for a long time. I will surely pay a visit the next time I get to be in Guihulngan. Thanks to Bes and Brod for showing me around Guihulngan. 'Til next time. 😊 FB Page: https://www.facebook.com/cafesaira/
