As of this writing, I am in the capital of the Philippines to run some errands. Today, I was fortunate enough to finish my appointment earlier than expected. This gave me ample time to check out a newly-opened restaurant that originated from Singapore, Hawker Chan. I really wanted to sample their food since Hawker Chan was awarded a Michelin Star (this is a standard when it comes to food. From Guadalupe, I made me way to MOA where their first branch in the Philippines is located.

It was around 1:30 when I arrived at the place. Surprisingly, there was a still a queue of people lining up. Since I'm a noodle addict, I ordered Soya Sauce Chicken Noodle (158php) and had an additional order of Char Siew (70php), Roast Pork (70php), and extra Sambal (20php).

The food was good... although I'd say the Soya Sauce Chicken and the Roast Pork were not that spectacular. To me, what stood out was the Char Siew and Noodles. I enjoyed the flavorful pork meat with a bit of sweetness to it. The chewy texture of the noodles was a delight.
Overall, my food experience at Hawker Chan was okay. At least, I could tell myself I've tried a Michelin-Starred restaurant at a reasonable price.
